If you're feeling unsure
Most people have questions before their first visit.
You don't need to have it all figured out. The first visit is a conversation. It's there to help you understand your options and decide what feels right for you.
- I'm not sure medication is right for me.
- My last provider barely looked up from the screen.
- I want to understand what I'm taking, and why.
- I'm worried about side effects or not feeling like myself.
Why Inner Wellness
More than a prescription. Care for the whole person.

Do I need to be sure I want medication before I book?
No. The first visit is meant to help you understand your options and decide what feels right. Choosing not to start medication is always an option.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. We accept United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Carolina Behavioral Alliance, and Cigna, and we offer self-pay options. Please confirm your coverage before your visit, since plans can change.
Can you coordinate with my therapist?
Yes. Care coordination is a core part of how we work. If you don't have a therapist yet, we can help you find one.
What's the difference between a therapist and medication management?
A therapist provides talk therapy. Medication management focuses on evaluating whether medication could help, then prescribing it and monitoring it over time. Many people do best with both.
